The Wolfe Family...

Our Christian Homeschool Blog Features Fred Wolfe and Angie Wolfe. We're the parents of five wonderful children. We think about the world in which we live, and how we are to please God in it, then we write it down here. We will focus our attention on Family disciplship, homeschool topics, marriage, and a host of other things that come up as we seek to do the will of God in daily life.
"Instruction, and advice, and commands will profit little, unless they are backed up by the pattern of your own life. Your children will never believe you are in earnest, and really wish them to obey you, so long as your actions contradict your counsel... Think not your children will practise what they do not see you do. You are their model picture, and they will copy what you are... will seldom learn habits which they see you despise, or walk in paths in which you do not walk yourself." - J.C. Ryle, The Upper Room (1888)

I really like a lot of the things you say! We have 3 children (so far) and are planning on several more. I'm already getting lots of "compliments" and some that are not so nice. We are also starting our first year of homeschooling, so I look forward to hearing more from you!

We just have three kids also and we get so many comments and looks from people. When did having three kids become strange. I think it is a small family historicaly.

Hi! ... We are a homeschooling family as well, and have four children. Mine are in 7th, 5th, 3rd, and 1st grade, and we've been homeschooling since my oldest started pre-school.

We used to get a lot of comments on how many kids we had when the kids were little, but now no one seems to notice or care, now that they are older. I never got any of the comments you did, but I did get a whole lot of "You do know what's causing that, don't you?" and "You must be so busy!" ... But then they would also usually tell me how cute and well behaved the kids were, which made me like them. *lol*

Good luck on the homeschooling. It's very rewarding! I love being able to spend so much time with my kids. :)

    In Christ,
    Julie

Our Christian Homeschool

  • About
Fred and Angie Wolfe are two kids who grew up together and got married two weeks after graduating high school. They now homeschool their children, and go about reforming their family to the plumbline of scripture. They don't do this perfectly, which is what makes this blog interesting. Come join our family as we write about our beliefs, struggles and victories.
